Whether you are just now entertaining the idea of writing a book or have been writing for a while, all authors need certain tools if our goal is to publish and make money with our work. Now, if your goal is to simply create a piece of literature that “says something deep and probing” about society or life or is esoteric and selling the book doesn’t matter? Then that is a noble goal and I wish you the very best.

There are works that have broken all the rules and come to be known (usually much later) as classics. I will, however, respectfully point out that the majority of those who follow this blog want to write commercially and make a decent living, so my list is geared toward a certain group of authors.

As i grew up i was my parents pet, everybody loved and took care of me, i got whatever i wanted. I was   there for them to enjoy their Gods given gift. My dad did everything he could to please me and mother. After two years of being alone my brother was born but things didn’t change we both enjoy the same love. Two years down the line my sister was born and we loved her more being the only girl within us, i took good care of both siblings.Later other two sisters were born and we loved them too.

After 32 years of my life on this planet my dad died and things changed so sudden. We buried him and life went on, At this time i made sure my mother and other siblings got almost everything they needed to advance in life, That included school, medical and housing, nobody complained or betrayed me,

Fortunately or unfortunately i lost my job, stayed jobless for almost an year but later got some part time job as dj in a local seed company, From the day i lost my job things changed and all those i helped turned against me simply because i could possibly become a burden. They hate me and everything i do.

Undeterred, experience on the ground told us that the level of demand for ICTs from operational development worker was significant and fast-growing. Local field staff were eager to apply ICT to enhance service delivery and empower communities.

We made mistakes though; a technology-centred approach…

that’s definitely what happens to many people,

Why is it that between 25 and 50 per cent of people report feeling overwhelmed or burned out at work?

It’s not just the number of hours we’re working, but also the fact that we spend too many continuous hours juggling too many things at the same time.

What we’ve lost, above all, are stopping points, finish lines and boundaries. Technology has blurred them beyond recognition. Wherever we go, our work follows us, on our digital devices, ever insistent and intrusive. It’s like an itch we can’t resist scratching, even though scratching invariably makes it worse.

Tell the truth: Do you answer email during conference calls (and sometimes even during calls with one other person)? Do you bring your laptop to meetings and then pretend you’re taking notes while you surf the net? Do you eat lunch at your desk? Do you make calls while you’re driving, and even send the…
